This purple nuisance just keeps coming after you, again and again.
His mission is to temporarily IRRADIATE you by touching you. He will do whatever he can to get to you, including munching through eaties and killing off other characters.
If he succeeds in running up to you and touching you, you will (temporarily) become purple like him, and you will leave RADZONES wherever you walk. This is not a good thing. The RadZones, if left untouched, will eventually fester and grow and become a major problem for you.
You can kill the Hitman by going after him and touching HIM before he touches YOU (it's kind of like playing a deadly game of tag), but you'll still become irradiated... unless you touch him when you're ENERGIZED. If you are energized, his radioactivity can't affect you.
The Hitman may tag you several times in succession - if this happens, you will be irradiated for a LONG time. So if you know he's going to get you, be sure to tag HIM first to kill him off!
